His grandfather, Imindzhan Kadyrovich Kadyrov, was the Minister of Education of the Uzbek SSR, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Corresponding Member of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the USSR. This outstanding personality had an enormous influence on shaping young Iskandar's worldview.
